How to Prevent Mold
Mold is causing headaches to many households around the country, but dealing with it is not as difficult as one might think.

Here's some tips how to prevent it:
1. Keep your home dry
Keep the relative humidity in region of the 30-50%, use dehumidifiers, if necessary. Get a hygrometer - a cheap yet effeective humidity measure tool. It should be available at your local tool store.
2. Arrange air circulation
Nothing helps mold develop more than stale air, so keep it in motion. Make sure there's ventilation in humid areas like bathroom and kitchen and around devices like dishwasher or washing mashine.
3. Check every month to see whether there is no mkold in the most endangered areas. Look for surface decoloration and look for unpleasant smells.
4. If you find mold, deal with it immediately! In most cases you can do it on your own, but if a large area is affected you should have a professional.
